Messy play in the woods.

We took part in the woodland toddler play group in Ecclesall Woods. Lots of messy play with spices, mud, water and lots more. The children enjoyed mark making with natural messy resources.

It’s the most wonderful time…

Snow-ho-ho. Today the children enjoyed a sensory experience playing with fake snow. Touching it, throwing it, hiding things in. Sounds simple but everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spooky drawings-on

Today we took a trip out to Chatsworth where the children enjoyed the farmyard and adventure play area as usual but spent ages enjoying the arts & crafts for Halloween making witches hats, snakes, and pom-pom spiders complete with webs and beetle weaving. Mother’s Day Pottery

All mummies deserve a treat from their little ones – today we painted porcelain heart shaped tea light holders. Both the little ones and older children loved doing this activity.

Sunny Winter Walk

Always time to take in the view! Such a beautiful day we went off to Holmebrook Valley Park for a very muddy walk, collected sticks and said hello to the ducks. This little one got stuck in the mud, lost her welly but still loved every minute!

Christmas Craft

Air drying clay is great for children of all ages, they all loved rolling, cutting out the stars and sticking the sparkles on. Everyone took their decorations home to hang on their Christmas trees.
